			* The point represented in the first quadrant <math>(x,y)</math> has both positive values and is plotted with reference to the positive <math>X</math>-axis and the positive <math>Y</math>-axis.
			* The point represented in the second quadrant is <math>(-x,y)</math> is plotted with reference to the negative <math>X</math>-axis and positive <math>Y</math>-axis.
